Hey Beauties, it’s Lisa, creator/owner of Dolledup Cosmetics. My line of cosmetics was inspired by my obsession with lip gloss. It is an essential part of every makeup artist’s kit. I never leave home without it in my makeup bag. But while lip gloss comes in many colors, it’s not always easy to find that perfect shade. I often have to mix colors to create what I’m looking for. My color theory classes from art school are finally paying off!
Born in Houston, raised in Oakland, living in L.A., my journey into the world of makeup began watching my mom meticulously blending her eyeshadows and applying the perfect red pout. She is the reason I became a makeup artist. My signature red shade will be in honor of my dad, Baseball Hall of Famer, the late Joe Morgan – number 8. His wish was for me to own a cosmetics company. Dolledup Cosmetics is dedicated to my family.
When I’m not playing mad scientist -mixing new colors for clients – I enjoy spending time with Summer, my teenage daughter, traveling and indulging in food and champagne.
